Hi! I’m Arttu and I study Business Systems & Software at ICT-City for third year. I have a broad interest in IT related stuff, but web development excites me the most. I have gained basic knowledge on many things such as programming, databases and information security, but I need more practice to use those skills comfortably in real projects. However, I’m eager to learn more.

I’m always willing to hear about new technologies and applications, which can make my life easier. That played a big part in the choice of my study field. In the future, it would be awesome to create something, that could help someone else.

Hello, my real name is Alfons but everybody calls me phons, or some variation of that. I've been programming since I was ~10 years old, and I've used a lot of languages on basic level(JavaScript, PHP, Python, C++, VisualBasic).

Mostly, and most recently I've been developing with Java, and I also use it a lot at work, so I know a good bit about Java programming. Most of my programming knowledge is on server-side development and a bit on game development. I'm quite keen about web security, so I also know some stuff about security related topics, like encryption and website vulnerabilities.

I also know a bit about databases, mostly SQL based but also document databases like mongo, and I'm very interested in learning more about them.

Rintaro Wako - Introduction

I am studying at Turku University of Applied Sciences as an exchange student from August to January. I do not take any classes here, I spend most of my time at Game Lab and work on a Unity and Kinect Project. In my home university, I have learned basic skills of programming including web, database, servers and so on. What I'm interested in recently is Google Apps Script (which is similar to javascript).

Unfortunately, I cannot continue this project till the end since I need to return to Japan in the middle of January. I sometime have difficulties understanding English, usually have problems with listening skills. Please help me when I don't understand.

Hello team! I'm Henri and I also study my third year at ICT-City. I'm working as a junior developer in finnish SaaS company called Heeros. At Heeros we offer financial management services for SME businesses. I'm interested in ERP-systems and web developing.


I have basic knowledge on web development, and I'm eager to learn more. My expectations for this course are major improvement in teamwork and planning considering IT-projects.

Hi, I'm Markus and I study at ICT-City in Turku. My field of expertise is mostly programming related and I'm interested in SaaS kind of projects and other web platform related solutions. That's why I chose Business systems & software as my study field.

I know a little bit from here and there, from back-end to front-end, from testing to production releasing. I'm currently doing projects in my job as a software developer and have done several in the past.
